Review and approval of August 2023 minutes:
Motion to approve: Dana Harris, seconded by Dan Kent
Video: School Community Council Training:
Assistant Principal April Davis showed the State training video to the council members, then asked for any questions/concerns on the content.
Discussion: Communication between Teachers and Parents:
Assistant Principal Davis instructed the council to break into groups to discuss the purpose, content and the frequency parents would like to have in communicating with teachers. The data was gathered at the end of the time and will be presented at a later date.
Review
Assistant Principal Davis reviewed the current data on absences and tardies. Both have gone done significantly over the past year.
