Welcome & Call to Order, Introductions: Karlee Fryer called the meeting to order. All Council members introduced themselves and mentioned their connection to Logan High.


Review and Approval of April 2026 minutes: Motion to approve Chris Rasmussen, seconded by David Henderson


Election of 2026-27 Chair and Co-Chair: Karlee Fryer reviewed the Responsibilities of the Chair and Co-Chair and called for nominations. After different council members were approved and seconded, a vote was taken and Jason Pond was elected as Chair with Rebecca Martinez as Co-Chair for the 26-27 School year.


Budget Update: Principal Mather reviewed the 2026-2027 budget, noting that there was only a $900 surplus. He also talked about the TeachFX Annual Subscription for our teachers.


Updates: Principal Mather reviewed the data from Summer School (33 credits were earned during summer school). Enrollment is up 130 students currently, and Back to School night was busier than in the past. He talked about the new cell phone policy and our two new hires (Samantha Shaffer and Matt Garton). He also talked about the new ‘Habits of Mind’ initiative for this school year.
