Welcome & Call to Order

Review and approval of January 2025 minutes:

  • Motion to approve Dan Kent, seconded by Jason Pond

Budget Update:

  • Principal Guymon reviewed the SIP 2024-2025 budget and updated the council as to the current funds that have been spent

Review By-Laws:

  • Principal Guymon reviewed the council By-Laws and council members discussed what if any changes needed to be made. For any changes, there will be a vote electronically.

Discussion:

  • Council Chair will be sending out a survey for suggestions and comments for next year in an effort to help the new Principal

Questions/Concerns from Council Members:

  • One council member asked about a student meeting that was held concerning an article about LHS in the newspaper, Chris Rasmussen attended the meeting and said that the discussion was positive and students felt heard.
  • Another member asked if LHS is looking into ways to support students in attending away games next year in the new 3A region, and media streaming opportunities for those games. Principal Guyom responded they are looking at some options.
