Review and approval of May 2024 minutes:

  • Motion to approve: Dan Kent, seconded by Jason Pond

Council Chair/Co-Chair Election:

  •  Melissa Dahle (Chair), Amy Kleiner (Co-Chair)

Review 2024-25 School Improvement Plan:

  •  Principal Guymon reviewed the 2024-2025 School Improvement Plan

Updates

  • Principal Guymon reviewed the expectations for the new district “Student Use of Cell Phone (FAC)” policy and the positive impact we are seeing on student engagement to start the school year.
  • He also discussed the reasons for school dance times changing this year to ending at 10PM for all dances except the Homecoming dance.
  •  He let the committee know of the hiring of a new Instructional Coach, Candace Mullen.

Questions/Concerns from Council Members:

  • Principal Guymon was asked to bring data on Summer School attendance and credit completion to the next meeting.
