Only one new application was received for next year’s council, it was decided to re-open the election and send out another parentlink message with the due date of May 26th
Principal Guymon reviewed data concerning homeroom, citizenship and attendance. Absences and tardies were both down by a significant margin from last year. Homeroom is achieving the goal of building relationships between teachers and students and helping students stay on top of their assignments.
Principal Guymon and the Co-Chairs reviewed the projected carryover amount. They then presented needs to fund based on what was not funded in the 2023-2024 school improvement plan and also based on other needs which have been presented by teachers. Council then put in rank order the items below and voted to budget for as many of the items as possible, starting at the top of the list, with land trust money once that amount was known in July. Dan Kent motioned to approve and Jim Woolley seconded the motion, it was unanimously approved.
