Purpose of SCC:
Principal Daryl Guymon went over the purpose of SCC according to the state website:

  • Sounding board for decision-making
  • Improve education practices
  • School land trust expenditures
  • Review school-wide data

Budget updates for 2021-22 school year:

  • FY21 Carryover: $41,013
  • FY22 Allocation: $250,247
  • Online School Addition: $10,000
  • Total Allocation: $301,260

Budget approved for the 2021-22 school year:

  • Learning academy: $111,000
  • USU Psychology Intern: $12,000
  • Instructional Assistants: $40,000
  • PBIS: $1,000
  • Career Center Coordinator: $6,500
  • AmeriCorps Mentor: $8,500
  • 9th Grade Chromebooks: $50,000

Recommendations/Changes for 2021-22 school year:

  • Increase Parent Liaison allocation 1.37 hours/day: $5,500
  • Super Saturday Credit Restoration: $2,500

Approval of additional funding allocations: Melissa Dahle moved to approve the above additions and changes to the trustlands budget. Karlee Fryer seconded the motion. It was unanimously approved.
