Welcome & Call to Order
Review and approval of February 16 2022 minutes:
- Motion to approve: Dan Kent, second by David Henderson vote was unanimous to approve
Adjustment to Y2022-2023 School Improvement Plan:
- Principal Guymon received the correct amount allotted for the Y2022-2023 budget ($256,611) and proposed the following reallocations:
- $26,000 from the refocus Classroom and move it to:
- $15,000 for the Career Center Coordinator,
- $35,000 for Instructional Assistants (Academic classroom Aides, Hall Monitors)
- Motion to approve amendment: Adrianne Hall, second: Karlee Fryer- Motion was unanimously approved
Discussion: Proposal on updated Student Dress and Appearance Standards:
Principal Guymon asked for the council’s input on a proposed Student Dress Code that the council had received in an email prior to the meeting. Principal Guymon asked them to take a 1 question survey: on a scale of 0 to 5 (0 being totally opposed, 5 being totally in favor).
- “What is your level of support for this proposal”? The response was:
- 8 people said “4”, 1 person said “5”
- Council members expressed concern on how the dress code would be implemented and enforced, Principal Guymon responded all faculty and staff will need to be on board for it to be successful.
Presentation from Citizenship Team:
Rose Brown and Jared Rounds, members of the Citizenship Committee presented a document their team has been working on for next year on Citizenship grades having an impact and consequences. The information was received in a positive manner by the council.

Election Infromation for Y2022-2023
Council members are welcome to run for re-election as long as they will have a student at LHS within the 2-year term they serve.
