Welcome & Call to Order

Review and approval of September 2022 Minutes

• Motion to approve: Renee Nolan, seconded by Yenny Lopez

Presentation:

Principal Guymon explained the “Next Steps” program (credit recovery) and introduced Melanie Harris the teacher who facilitates the class. Her role as teacher is to encourage students to be in class, keep them on task during class time, help students use the class to stay up to date on current classes as well as make up past classes. Melanie shared the following information:

• The classes are comprised of mostly 11^th and 12^th grade students
• 1 st term this year there were 75 students enrolled
• 94 quarter credits were earned 1^st term (which is equivalent to 27 full year courses)
• 5 students have already completed the credits they needed for graduation
• 39 of the courses are at least 75% complete

Report: Citizenship Data

• Principal Guymon reported the Citizenship plan data is showing that students are going to class and arriving on time. We are at the lowest rate for missed classes and tardies for the past 6 years.

Review: AP, Concurrent and BTech courses

• Principal Guymon compared the following data concerning AP, Concurrent Enrollment and BTech courses to Green Canyon HS

Report: UHSAA Realignment

• No update at this time on the realignment process
